Defeat Your Enemies in a Single Strike in This PvP Samuraipunk Game

Die by the Blade is a stylish weapon-based fighting game arriving in less than a week.

Check out Die by the Blade, a stylish high-octane weapon-based fighting game that combines traditional Japanese aesthetics with cyberpunk vibes and offers a realistic combat experience where every swing of the sword can mean the difference between death and life.

Developed by Grindstone, Triple Hill Interactive, and Toko Midori Games, the game lets you choose your weapon and character combination to define your moveset and engage in fierce clashes with other players in local or online multiplayer amidst the grimy neon-lit streets or the serene snow-covered landscapes of rural Japan.

Die by the Blade's standout feature lies in its combat system. With no health bars, every strike of the sword, be it a massive two-handed nodachi or a swift katana, holds the potential to decide the fate of you or your opponent, requiring you to focus on parrying, blocking, and dodging attacks, rather than carelessly slashing and smashing left and right.

Features:

  • Master the one-hit-kill, parrying, and dodging mechanics to withstand a flurry of blows and cut down your opponents in seconds;
  • Choose from a range of traditional Japanese blades to define your moveset and playstyle;
  • Take on your friends or test your strength against players from around the world with our local and online 1v1 multiplayer;
  • Hone your skills in Practice Mode, battle your way through Tournament Mode, or see where you stand in online Ranked matches;
  • Explore a samuraipunk world through the game’s arenas: battle in the zen-like calm of a traditional Japanese temple or take the fight to the graffitied streets of the city;
  • Make your weapon and warrior your own with in-depth customization features.

The best part is, the game is nearing its release and is set to launch in less than a week, on May 16. You can learn more and wishlist Die by the Blade by clicking this link.
