A Fluid Dragon Animation Made with Maya, Megascans & UE5

The animation was made by Rustam Terekhov and is based on the artist's old project.

3D Animator Rustam Terekhov unveiled a new and extremely fluid animation made in Unreal Engine 5. The animation depicts a mighty dragon getting hit in the head with a ball and is based on the artist's old project, released four months ago. According to the author, the animation was created to test out the combination of Megascans and Unreal Engine in animation workflows. Additionally, the artist utilized Quixel Bridge and Maya. The dragon rig itself was made by CG Artist Truong.

"Many 3D Animators often face the challenge of creating a good render for their shot. In addition, finding a cool environment for your animation takes a lot of time. My best recommendation for this case is Unreal and Quixel Megascans. This couple creates true magic," comments Rustam. "If you're new to Unreal then it won't take you more than a week to get an understanding of how to set up your scene for rendering."
