A Realistic Sand Simulation Made in Cinema 4D

The artist utilized X-Particles' NeXus feature to set up the simulation.

3D Artist and Generalist Hirokazu Yokohara, whose simulations and visual effects impress us on an almost weekly basis, revealed an amazing new project made with Cinema 4D. This time, the creator presented a GPU-accelerated realistic sand simulation, made using NeXus, a Vulkan-powered solution for setting up fluids, grains, constraints, and particles, recently added to X-Particles, an advanced particle and VFX system for C4D. According to the artist, this workflow would be perfect for motion graphics as it is very intuitive and easy to understand.
