Asus Announced the First 42-inch OLED Gaming Monitor

The ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ has a 4K resolution and 120Hz refresh rates.

At CES 2022, Asus presented the world’s first 42-inch OLED gaming monitor. While the ROG Swift OLED in a 48-inch (PG48UQ) size is not a novelty, the 42-inch (PG42UQ) one is certainly innovative.

The PG42UQ has a 4K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 0.1ms response time, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and HDR10 support. Speaking of ports, both monitors include two HDMI 2.1 and two HDMI 2.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, and audio inputs. The monitors also have 10-bit color with 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.

Asus also promises the displays to be anti-glare and covered with a micro-texture coating for the best color accuracy. Both monitors also support variable refresh rates as well as Auto Low Latency Modes.

Along with LG's OLED TVs, this monitor is surely something to look forward to. So far, there is no information about the release date or price for the monitor.

Considering Asus prices in the past, such monitors won't be cheap. What do you think is the best price for the first 42-inch 4K OLED monitor?
