Battlefield 2042 Doesn't Have A Singleplayer Campaign or Battle Royale

The game will focus on massive multiplayer battles.

The next Battlefield game is officially called Battlefield 2042 and of the most interesting facts is that the upcoming games won't feature a singleplayer campaign or a battle royale mode. The game will be set in the near-future world with the max player count doubled to 128 on PC and the new consoles.

The 128-player maps will have sectors containing clusters of control points. The game will also feature different specialists with a backstory and unique gadget that can carry any gun.

This time, EA decided to focus on epic multiplayer battles so there will be no battle royale modes and the game will not have a singleplayer campaign.
