According to recent reports, Bethesda and Tango Gameworks removed Denuvo DRM from their supernatural horror open-world game, Ghostwire: Tokyo, on PC through an update.

The companies took the action without any official statement or patch notes. Even though Bethesda has not confirmed the removal, many players are likely happy with this decision. Denuvo is known for its anti-piracy capabilities but has been criticized for potentially affecting game performance and user experience, despite legitimate ownership.

Speaking of when it was added, the game received Denuvo DRM one year after the official launch of the game.
