Welcome back, Isaac Clarke!
During the EA Play Live show, the company announced the next Dead Space game. The sci-fi survival horror classic will return with Motive Studios offering "a deeper and more immersive experience." The game will be powered by the Frostbite game engine for next-generation consoles.
Dead Space will be launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The original game told the story of Isaac Clarke, an engineer on a mission to repair a vast, sprawling starship, the USG Ishimura. Then, he discovers there's something wrong with the whole story and the ship's crew has been slaughtered and infected by unknown beasts.
