Dying Light 2 Delayed Indefinitely

Another title takes more time to finish.

Techland has decided to delay its Dying Light 2 indefinitely to allow "more development time to fulfill vision." The statement doesn't specify exactly why the company is missing its spring 2020 target. Unfortunately, we don't know yet when the game will be ready. Stay tuned as the studio is going to share more info in the coming months.

One of the reasons for the delay could definitely be the scope of the sequel, and we should also consider the complexity of this idea of environment and gameplay changing based on the player's actions. Don't forget that both new Xbox and PlayStation 5 are on the way, so the studio might want to bring the game closer to this Fall.
