Epic Shares MegaGrants Program Update

Over 1,800 projects across six continents and 92 countries have already participated in the MegaGrants program.

Epic Games has shared some results on its MegaGrants program – a support program that aims to help talents across the globe create projects using Unreal Engine, real-time tools, and open-source software by offering financial support. According to the company, over 1,800 projects across six continents and 92 countries have already received the grant.

Along with the update on the number of recipients, Epic also revealed that Intel has joined the Epic MegaGrants Perks Program. The program provides recipients with Unreal Engine Ecosystem resources as well as perks from Epic’s curated partners such as free hardware, AWS Activate credits, marketing support, and more. Apart from Intel, the list of Epic’s curated partners includes AMD, Amazon Web Services, and Move.ai.

"We’ve been excited about Intel’s first discrete GPUs and their full support for Lumen, Nanite, and ray tracing in Unreal Engine 5.1 for a while now, so it’s wonderful to also welcome them to the MegaGrants family as a partner and sponsor," Head of Epic MegaGrants Chris Kavcsak said.
