Escape Studios Introduces New Virtual Production Courses

Escape Studios has partnered with Epic Games and ScreenSkills to launch a series of new training programs specializing in virtual production and Unreal Engine.

A visual effects academy Escape Studios announced it has partnered with Epic Games and ScreenSkills to launch a series of new training programs. The courses will be specialized in Unreal Engine and virtual production held and will take place through this summer.

Escape Studio's programs include four new courses: Step Up To Unreal, The Virtual Production Suite, Unreal Fridays, and London Connectors.

During the Step to Unreal course, the participants will be able to learn the Unreal Engine for free and get a chance to take a paid placement with such VFX film and TV studios in the UK as Framestore, Halon Entertainment, Garden Studios, Lux Machina, Dimension Studios, Untold, The Mill and Technicolor. The course is suitable for both early-career VFX artists and high-end TV professionals.

 

The Virtual Production Suite is a series of three courses set to enable professionals to learn more about virtual production. Each course focuses on specific fundamentals of the VP. Freelancers, sole traders, and professionals can take part in this course for free.

If you'd like to take part in a more creative course, Unreal Fridays may be your choice. The course is designed specifically for the UK commercials sector and offers an opportunity to explore artistic and stylistic avenues offering ways to collaborate. 

Finally, London Connectors is a five-week intensive training program that is teaching artists immersive storytelling through Unreal Engine. The course will be great for all media professionals who want to dive deep into Unreal Engine where the participants will get advanced knowledge of virtual production workflows and techniques as well as make a unique creative portfolio.
