Artist and developer Antoine Bagattini released a fast and free Ivy Generator for Blender which allows to procedurally generate ivy inside the toolkit.
The tool, using the new geometry nodes in Blender 3.0 as a base, automatically generates 3D ivy to cover any provided mesh. You can then tweak density, offset, area, and more.
The artist’s Ivy Generator can only be used with Blender 3.0 as the latest update introduced Geometry Nodes. You can learn more and get the tool for free here.
