Ghibli-Style Stylized Shader Made in Unreal Engine 5

This beautiful shader was made by Sam Gao.

3D Environment Artist at Blizzard Entertainment Sam Gao demonstrated a beautiful stylized shader inspired by Studio Ghibli's Howl's Moving Castle. The shader looks absolutely marvelous and features a hand-painted art style similar to anime. What's more, this project clearly demonstrates the stylized art capabilities of Unreal Engine 5, as according to the artist, the entire working process took place in the engine.

The artist has also shared a useful tutorial on how to get brush stroke effects in post-process, a technique used for the shader.
