Greek Goddess Persephone Imagined in 3D With ZBrush

Check out Sergio Khazov's new digital sculpt.

Sergio Khazov, a talented Character Artist who previously impressed us with his 3D versions of Arcane's Vi and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, expands his portfolio with one more outstanding sculpt. This time, the creator presented a stylized take on Persephone, a Greek goddess and the wife of Hades, the god of the Underworld, depicting her in a traditional tunic and holding a pomegranate, a symbol of death and fertility in ancient Greek mythology. As usual, the model was sculpted and painted in ZBrush, with Marmoset Toolbag used for rendering.

And here are some of Sergio's previous works:

If you'd like to learn more about the artist's working pipeline, we highly recommend checking out our recent interview with Sergio where he showed us the workflow behind the Red Riding Hood project, discussing the steps of the sculpting process and working with masks in ZBrush.
