GSC, the developer of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, has canceled all NFT-related plans regarding the upcoming game due to immense backlash. Initially, the developer planned to include a range of linked NFTs into the game, including one particular NFT that would offer the owner to become the "first-ever metahuman" in the game, as well as tattoos, graffiti, NPCs, and several other things that would've been NFT-specific. But now, following heaps of negative comments, GSC no longer plans to establish the "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Metaverse".
