Tomas Slancik & Vraja Parra created an amazing procedural animation project for this year’s AICP sponsor reel, using Houdini.
Method Design has recently release it’s amazing AICP sponsor reel, which was shown this year. The AICP awards is an special event, which celebrates global creativity within commercial production.
For this project Method Design wanted to create an entertaining piece of design, which should mirror the innovative and prolific nature of this industry. AICP sponsors were shown as various dancing avatars. All the dancing moves in this production were captured from real dancer. All the special effects, including incredibly sophisticated procedural animation and dynamic simulations were achieved with Houdini.
Incredible design projects and fantastic take on the functionality of Houdini software. Wish we had a little glimpse on some of the production techniques.
