Amazon announced Jen MacLean is going to be a part of their Game Team. She is joining as the Head of Worldwide Business Development for small and mid-size developers.
Jen previously worked for the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) as the Executive Director. Her entire career is devoted to fulfilling the needs of game developers. She’ll now help developers be successful at every stage of development with AWS, Twitch Prime, Alexa, and Amazon.com
“I love how small and medium-sized teams explore new kinds of experiences. So much creativity and innovation come from teams that aren’t hampered by the way we’ve always done things,” said MacLean.
She feels confident that Amazon services like AWS, GameLift, and GameSparks can be a game changer for small studios and save months of engineering time.
Jen previously worked as the head of IGDA and is excited to use Amazon Game Tech so she can continue being support and advocate for underrepresented developers.
