Kheezwara: A Great Environment with Egyptian Vibes Made in Blender

Max Bedulenko continues his Velvet Road series with this captivating scene.

Max Bedulenko, 3D Environment Artist from Poland known for his fantastic Blender-made scenes, continues expanding his Velvet Road series with yet another fantastic project. This time, Max demonstrated Kheezwara, a city inspired by the architecture of the Middle East. According to the artist, Kheezwara is a great commercial and cultural center of the Marble Gulf, a region within the world of Velvet Road. As usual, the entire environment was made using only Blender and Photoshop.

Over the last year, Max had become a recurring visitor at 80 Level. In our last interview, the artist had shared a breakdown of Nogroth, a previous installment in the Velvet Road series, talked about the series itself, and explained the asset-creation and scene assembly processes. You can check out this interview here.

And in another interview, Max told us about the Montreal project, explained how and why it was created, shared modeling, texturing, and rendering workflows that were used, and showed how to make a 3D image look 2D. This interview can be read here.
