Knitted-Like Characters Made With Maya, ZBrush & Substance 3D Painter

The characters were made by Akbar Erabiyan.

Lead 3D Character Artist at IGG Canada Akbar Erabiyan has recently shared a look at the incredible 3D characters made by the creator as a personal project in just over a week. Groomed in Houdini, the characters look like real-life knitted puppets and feature some incredible fuzz that pushes the realism of the models to a whole new level. According to the author, the characters were modeled with Maya and ZBrush, textured in Substance 3D Painter, and rendered in Houdini with Arnold.
