The engine now supports the latest Twitch API.
Amazon launched Lumberyard 1.28, a new beta version of the game engine. The latest update comes with a new Twitch API Gem and inhances the installation process.
The previous version was released five months ago, but the new one is not a major release as they continue working on underlying technologies including Atom, the team's next physically-based render engine.
As for the latest release, the main feature is support for the latest Twitch API. The update also features quality-of-life improvements to the Setup Assistant and Project Configurator.
