Magical Blender Shader That Makes Objects Appear Out of Nowhere

Bbbn192 showcased a couple of cool arm formation experiments.

If there's one thing that we can't ever get enough of it is the incredible projects created by 3D Artist and Animator Cartesian Caramel, also known as Bbbn192, who has once again left us in awe with his latest experiments.

Taking a break from his series of works dedicated to digital LEGOs, the maestro turned his attention to 3D shaders, showcasing a magical-like setup that makes it seem like objects appear out of nowhere, gradually becoming more and more whole. Leveraging the new shader, the artist conducted a couple of arm formation/regeneration tests, showcasing the appealing results over on Twitter.

Unfortunately, as of right now, the creator hasn't shared any tutorials or breakdowns that would reveal the secret behind this effect, but knowing Cartesian, it's highly likely that a comprehensive two-hour guide is just around the corner.

Earlier, the artist also demonstrated a Geometry Nodes-based rigging system, a recreation of the timeline collapse effect from the Loki TV series, a method for deforming fractured objects in Blender, an amazing procedural spider robot animation, a neat fence-melting effect, a stunning branching paths VFX, a delicious baking bread animation, a fully-functioning custom machine learning algorithm made with Geometry Nodes, a cool-looking robotic cable arm, fantastic LEGO assembly effects, a scale armor setup, and more.
