Myrkur Games is currently seeking experienced Environment Artists to join their team for the development of their upcoming action-adventure game, Echoes. If you'd like to contribute to the visual development of a brand new IP with talented developers from AAA studios, this is your chance to join the team on this exciting journey.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of environment artists to create exceptional AAA environments within Unreal Engine
- Help shape the visual identity of a brand new IP
- Contribute to planning and design of game visuals and gameplay spaces
- Delivering guidance and feedback as necessary
- Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure a phenomenal player experience
Qualifications:
- Excellent portfolio of real-time environments
- Expert understanding of all the aspects that tie into delivering AAA environments
- One or more shipped AA/AAA title as an environment artist or similar
- Understanding of video game level layout, composition, and lighting
- Expert-level experience with Unreal Engine, Maya/Blender, Substance 3D Designer, Substance 3D Painter, and/or ZBrush
- Good communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Welcomes and provides valuable feedback
