Nike is Seeking Skilled 3D Generalists

The legendary company, Nike, is hiring 3D Artists to develop, support, and implement virtual and immersive product experiences. 

The Nike team is looking for professional 3D Generalists with a passion for environmental art and design or architecture visualization to join the Immersive Design Team at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.

The 3D Generalist will use their experience in various 3D applications to develop, support, and implement virtual and immersive product experiences that include a variety of different disciplines centered around environment art assets, visual effects, lighting, and engine setup. In-engine Tech Art such as particles, real-time effects, custom shader creation, lighting, and the implementation of art assets into version control software such as Perforce is also needed. 

The 3D Generalist will work with the Immersive Team Lead to determine skills and knowledge development areas valuable to the team and can be applied to the team’s projects. This includes but is not limited to exploratory asset creation, working with department specialists, and documenting the findings.

What you bring to Nike

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design/Art, 3D Art, Game Design or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
  • 5 years of experience successfully delivering results in production or creative studio
  • Expert level proficiency in standard 3D software including game engines; Unreal preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of 3D modeling programs (Maya preferred) and Adobe CC (Substance Suite, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
  • Experience in AR/VR/XR and or game design is a definite plus
