The new service will allow developers to design, publish, and experience metaverse applications from anywhere.
In addition to RTX Remix, Racer RTX, and DLSS 3, NVIDIA also launched a new service that will allow developers to design, publish, and experience interactive 3D internet applications from anywhere in the world. Meet NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud, a new infrastructure-as-a-service that connects Omniverse applications running in the cloud, on-premises, or on edge devices. According to the developers, the system was designed to enable individual artists and teams to experience the ability to design and collaborate on 3D workflows without the need for any local computing power.
NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud provides tons of useful services, such as:
On top of that, the company has also unveiled Violet, an AI-powered cloud-based avatar that represents the latest evolution in avatar development through NVIDIA Omniverse Avatar Cloud Engine (ACE), a suite of cloud-native AI microservices that make it easier to build and deploy intelligent virtual assistants and digital humans at scale.
According to NVIDIA, the company's creative team utilized Unified Compute Framework, a fully accelerated framework that enables developers to combine optimized and accelerated microservices into real-time AI applications, to create Violet. Additionally, they used the Tokkio application workflow, which enables interactive avatars to see, perceive, converse intelligently and provide recommendations to enhance customer service, both online and IRL.
"The Violet demo showcases how Omniverse ACE eases avatar development, delivering all the AI building blocks necessary to create, customize and deploy interactive avatars," commented the team. "Whether taking restaurant orders or answering questions about the universe, these AI assistants are easily customizable for virtually any industry and can help organizations enhance existing workflows and unlock new business opportunities."
