Princess Mononoke's San & Moro Reimagined as Stylized 3D Characters

If you are a fan of Studio Ghibli's animated movies, here's a cool project just for you. 3D Character Artist Chloe Worthy has reimagined Princess Mononoke's San and Moro as stylized characters and recreated them in 3D. According to the artist, the goal of the project was to learn more about posed anatomy and expression. The characters were made in Marvelous Designer, ZBrush, Maya, Arnold, and Substance 3D Painter.

What's more, the artist has also shared a small breakdown of the project that sheds some light on the working process behind it. In this breakdown, Chloe talked about modeling the characters, shared the baking, mapping, and texturing workflows, explained the rendering process in Arnold, and more.
