6 May, 2019

Let’s check out a guide on setting up sprite sheet fire animation effect inside Marmoset Toolbag by Rodrigo Gonçalves. We’re sure some of the low-poly fans will find it useful.

The first step here is to create a plane with UV that takes the entire UV space.  Then you need to create or load a sprite sheet animation to be animated with the shader.

Basically, the process is quite simple. You can find the full guide below.

Looking for more tips from the talented artist? Make sure to check out our interview with Rodrigo Gonçalves where he shared an extended breakdown of his amazing Blacksmith character, based on an awesome concept from Tatiana Vetrova. You can read the interview here. Also, don’t forget to give his website a visit which features a number of other breakdowns.

The tutorial was originally posted here. Discuss the guide in the comments.
