Have a look at this photorealistic 3D recreation of J. Robert Oppenheimer as portrayed by Cillian Murphy in Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer" movie, created by Eugene Tertychnyi, a Freelance Character Artist who specializes primarily in realistic portraits.
Paying tribute to Nolan's new masterpiece and Murphy's portrayal of the scientist, the 3D model was made from scratch in less than two weeks, with the goal being to practice character art techniques and refine artistic skills. To create the character, the author utilized Maya, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, Cinema 4D, Marvelous Designer, Marmoset Toolbag, and V-Ray.
