The app produces colorful waveforms, bringing the record’s sound to life.
Signal-to-Noise released Revolv AR – an app that dynamically visualizes the sound of vinyl records in real-time.
"Sonic analysis of the frequency bands (treble, mid, bass, etc.) and their corresponding volume informs both the color and movement of these waveforms, bringing the record's sound to life."
The developers say that the app works with any record and record player. To make it work, you just need to detect the surface of your record player, configure the waveforms, and launch it. You can change the record speed and waveform colors.
Revolv AR is available on iOS for $1.19. Learn more about it on Signal-to-Noise's website and don't forget to join our new Reddit page, our new Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
