So long, riot shield turtles.
We are only three days away from the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Fans are getting more anticipation and satisfaction with the removal of the Riot Shield in the upcoming shooting game — it is obviously nowhere to be found in the recently unveiled weapon list.

The Riot Shield has been considered one of the most controversial primary weapons in the franchise. Some players love it for its capability of redirecting all incoming enemy bullets and greatly reducing explosive damage, but this is exactly why some dislike it. In such fast-paced games, it just cracks the balance and disturbs the overall experience.
Many players have shown their excitement with developer Treyarch’s decision. They are looking forward to fights where they don’t need to stack up explosives and can enjoy a pure-skill multiplayer game.
Black Ops 6 was officially unveiled in June during the Xbox Games Showcase. Treyarch confirmed earlier that the game, which is set during the Gulf War, will not include 9/11, a terrorist attack in the US in 2001.
