Spider-Man: Miles Morales Has Sold 6.5M Copies Since November 2020

PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 action-adventure exclusive from Insomniac Games becomes the absolute top-seller beating MLB: The Show 21, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Returnal.

The game based on the Marvel Comics superhero Miles Morales is an open-world single-player action-adventure where you can travel through a fictionalized version of New York City completing tasks and fighting enemies. You unlock gadgets and abilities as you go but the most awesome thing is without a doubt the ability to stick to the walls and climb the buildings just like Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales was released worldwide on November 12, 2020, for PlayStation 4, and a week later, it was launched worldwide for PlayStation 5. The game immediately received numerous positive reviews both from the critics and from the players. The game's PS4 version sold over 22.8K physical copies within just a week since its release date in Japan. Moreover, Spider-Man: Miles Morales became the best-selling physical PlayStation 5 launch game in the UK and sold more than 100K units within the first month in Germany.

According to the latest data from PlayStation, the game has sold more than 6.5 million copies worldwide in 8 months.
