Tuque Games Rebrands, Works on a UE5-Powered AAA Game

The studio is currently making an AAA game based on the Dungeons and Dragons IP.

Wizards of the Coast revealed video game developer Tuque Games decided to change its name to Invoke Studios. The team was originally established in 2012 in Montreal. The studio previously developed the 2016 cooperative shooter Livelock.

In 2019, Invoke was acquired by Wizards of the Coast and it is currently making an AAA game based on the Dungeons and Dragons IP.

The developer added they will continue to operate as an independent studio with Dominic Guay as its lead. Guay came from Ubisoft in April 2021, where he acted as a senior producer on Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2.

"We have our own culture and our own specific work methods," Guay said. "We value the autonomy of each team member, so that each person can express his or her talents in order to have the maximum productive impact on our games."
