Tutorial: Recreating RE2's Licker Introduction Scene With UE5.1

Game Designer and Tutorial-maker Yasmin Curren from the YagmanX YouTube channel has recently started a new tutorial series dedicated to recreating iconic moments from old-school horror games using the power of Unreal Engine 5.

The first tutorial in the series, dedicated to the legendary Licker introduction sequence from Resident Evil 2, thoroughly explains how to set up and place RE2-style fixed cameras using the engine's Blueprints, shows how to set up tank controls, demonstrates how to create a Licker animation with Sequencer and trigger the animation via a child blueprint, and more.
