Audiences around the world will see everything they need to continue to create, operate and monetize on the world’s most widely used real-time development platform.

Unity today announced that its GDC keynote will be taking place on Monday, March 18 at 5PM  PT at 846 Mission Street in San Francisco, Calif., and will be broadcast Live. With Unity at the center of the gaming ecosystem, the Keynote kicks off a full week of technology reveals and programming at the Unity Booth (Booth S249, S127, and S227 in the Moscone Center), Unity Central (30 3rd Street) and online on the Unity GDC Hub.

Performance by Default will be on full display, showcasing how developers will be able to achieve the benefits of multi-threaded performance for build targets of all ranges, all without the heavy programming headache. Unity will also showcase its next-level rendering technologies, focused on giving teams the ability to achieve beautiful visuals, whether they are targeting high-end or low-end platforms.

Invites to attend the Unity GDC Keynote will be sent in the coming weeks, and spaces are limited. Unity is also hosting viewing parties in its offices across San Francisco, Bellevue and Montreal where members of the development community can watch the Livestream along with Unity employees in those locations.

Several sessions will be streamed; for a full slate of programming please check the Unity GDC Hub.

All visitors are welcome at Unity Central (30 3rd Street) where they can get access to Unity’s technology and the people who build them, all without the need of a badge. Additionally, Unity is providing quiet places to have conversations, comfortable seating, places to charge and other amenities such as food and beverage. Happy Hours will also be hosted at this location by invitation.

    Unity Developer Day

Taking place at Moscone West (Room 3022) the Unity Developer Day is a full day of customized sessions for GDC badge holders. Topics are technical and will range from beginner to advanced, including deep dives into the Unity 2019 Roadmap and Project Tiny, Unity’s runtime and Editor mode designed to build games and experiences that can load instantly. Attendance is first come, first served.

Unity at the Center of the Game Development Ecosystem

Unity powers more than 50% of all new mobile games, and reaches more than 3 billion devices worldwide. This is only possible because of Unity’s role of partnering with industry leaders such as Apple, Google, NVIDIA, Sony Playstation, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Oculus Rift, and Autodesk to optimize the Unity platform for each of these platforms and workflows.
