Unity-Powered Real-Time Reflections in Augmented Reality

The setup utilizes VR IK, Ultraleap tracking, and Final IK.

AR/VR Game Developer and Co-Founder of a development studio Alientrap Games Lee Vermeulen, widely known for his mind-blowing experiments with liquid physics in augmented reality, has shared a new demo showcasing an impressive new setup achieved with Unity.

The newly-showcased system made by Lee allows its creator to set up real-time reflections in AR, rendering a skybox of the office with an estimated body pose, achieved with VR IK, and a 3D hand model, via Ultraleap tracking. Additionally, the author utilized ZibraAI's Zibra Effects to create water physics, Final IK, and the Varjo XR-3 headset to capture the demo.
