Zenith The Last City Release Date Revealed

This upcoming open-world MMORPG for VR will be released later this month.

For those unaware, Zenith is an upcoming action-packed, open-world MMORPG for VR, currently being developed by an independent studio Ramen VR. Yesterday, the team announced the game's release date via an announcement trailer you can watch above. According to the trailer, Zenith is coming on January 27th, 2022, however, this is an estimated launch date for the game and is subject to change.

In Zenith, you will be able to fight, craft, explore, forge alliances and friendships in guilds and parties, join epic raids and world events, and lose yourself in a massively multiplayer world built for VR. The game features an engaging VR combat, where parrying and timing matter a lot, an immersive world with a variety of locations, ranging from relaxing oceanside towns to massive white cap mountain tops, and is built to be an infinite universe with countless players.

Previously, Ramen VR had raised $10 million in a Series A round led by Makers Fund, with participation from Dune Ventures and Anthos Capital. Thanks to these funds, the team was able to hire new staff, expand the team's possibilities, and speed up the development process.

"We’ve already had incredibly positive feedback from our community about the social interactions in our game and the promise of the future," said Andy Tsen, Ramen VR's Co-Founder, back then. "Our partners at Makers Fund, Anthos, and Dune have been so supportive of our vision, and we are thrilled to have them aboard our journey.”

The game will be released on Oculus Quest, Rift, PS VR, and Steam. Click here to learn more and pre-order the game.
