Create Arcane-Themed Artwork & Win Prizes from ZugZug Studio

The studio announced an artistic challenge of Arcane-inspired original artworks.

Try your skills and boost your creativity by participating in the Arcane Style 3D Art Challenge announced by ZugZug Studio, a competition for artists in which they can present their Arcane-themed works and try to win one of the prizes. It is a great chance to fine your artistic skills and get inspired by talented artists and their works dedicated to the beloved characters. The challenge starts on November 10.

The artwork for the contest should be a stylized PBR or hand-painted Arcane-style. It can refer to any field – characters, props, or environment – you can do whatever you want from Runetera Universe. There are no texture and polycount restrictions, but try to aim for a game-ready 3D model. The artwork shouldn't be a 100% copy of existing models. Add some original details and your own artistic touch. For instance, you can create a model of Jinx, but with pink hair and glasses, or make her a vampire.

The deadline for entries is December 18. You should present your artwork by providing an ArtStation link to a finished project and presentation, including 3D Viewer (Marmoset Toolbag or Sketchfab), posted with a contest hashtag. The work will be judged by the ZugZug Team on creativity, technical quality, and Arcane design aspects. A special Guest and one of the judges is the artist who was a part of Arcane Season 2, Phil Zhang. As for the prizes, there will be three prize places, a community award, and honorable mentions.
