Making a Custom TexturingXYZ Displacement Map From a ZBrush Sculpt

Gaël Kerchenbaum shared a detailed four-part tutorial series showing how to create TexturingXYZ Displacement Maps.

In case you missed it, Character and Creature Artist Gaël Kerchenbaum has recently shared a comprehensive four-part tutorial series, explaining how to create custom TexturingXYZ Displacement Maps from a ZBrush sculpt.

In these tutorials, the artist showed how to prepare a model, export custom displacement and combine them into a three-channel map, and finally how to project it in Mari. Resulting in highly-detailed skin for creatures and characters.
