A Free PvPvE Extraction Shooter Mixing Borderlands And Fortnite Is Out Today

Have a look at Hawked, a free online extraction shooter that has launched today in early access via Steam. The launch was announced during the PC Gamer Show: Most Wanted live event.

The game lets players become Renegades who compete in an extraction-shooter environment set on the island of X-Isle. Teams of up to three or solo players have to secure and extract valuable artifacts – the trick might challenging though as you have to battle monsters, solve puzzles, and deal with traps. 

You might have guessed that the ultimate goal is to become the first team to successfully extract artifacts from the island. The development team prepared different character customization options and abilities so there's always a chance to stand out. Also, there are artifacts players can find that offer unique passive bonuses like camouflage when crouching or heightened enemy awareness. Hawked now has 18 types of artifacts and you can mix three simultaneously.
