Is there anything that Microsoft can offer to the game's prospects?

In a recent interview with IGN, Swen Vincke, the Founder of Larian Studios, stated that their multiple award-winner RPG Baldur's Gate 3 won't be coming to Microsoft's game subscription service.
"We made a big game, so I think there's a fair price to be paid for that, and I think that that is okay. We don't charge you any micro-transactions on top of it, so you get what you pay for. Upfront it's a big meaty game. So I think that should be able to exist as it is. This is what allows us to continue making other games," said Vincke.
The game recently joined Xbox, and now we know for sure Larian Studios' plans regarding Xbox Game Pass: not happening.
Before its release, Baldur's Gate 3 was almost added to Xbox Game Pass. During its Early Access phase, Microsoft offered Larian $5 million to secure it as a Game Pass title. Michael Douse, Larian Studios' Publishing Head, later emphasized how the game's eventual success was unforeseen.
It's worth noting that Larian and Blizzard both declined an Xbox Game Pass launch this year, making them rare developers who made that choice. Although Blizzard may consider launching Diablo IV on the service in the future, the specific reasons behind its decisions, as well as those of other developers, are often kept private.
