BREAKING: Leaked Images Reveal Virtuos Games' Oblivion Remake

It's also labeled as "Remastered."

Although there hasn't been an official announcement regarding The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake, a leaked internal document from Bethesda dating back to 2020 suggested that the project was in the works. Additionally, rumors have hinted that the beloved 2006 RPG would be getting a remake in Unreal Engine 5, with Virtuos Studios, also working on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, leading development.

Now, it's pretty much official. As spotted by Reddit user Taurnil, Virtuos Games accidentally uploaded several screenshots to its website, giving us a first glimpse at the revamped version of Oblivion. Interestingly, it's referred to as a "remaster," and the images appear to include PS5 logos, suggesting the remake won't be an Xbox exclusive.

Currently, Virtuos has restricted access to the screenshots, and trying to view any of them results in a "403 Forbidden" error page. Given that, there's little reason to doubt we're heading back to Cyrodiil.
