During the recent PAX East event, some lucky ones had the opportunity to preview the early build of the upcoming Dune: Awakening. Although the version showcased was far from the final project, it was still impressive.
Based on feedback from PAX East players, the game draws the most similarities to Rust, but features unique elements such as sandstorms, sandworms, and constructing the Sietch for the Fremen. Additionally, players can expect world events, PvP/PvE events centered around gathering spice, customizable vehicles, and numerous other features.
Here is what to expect, as shared by a Twitter user, PokketNinja:
- Sandstorms;
- Sandworms;
- PVP/PVE events for gathering spice;
- Customizable Vehicles;
- World Events;
- Character Abilities;
- Character Skill Trees;
- Player Hub.
