Check Out This Incredible Inventory Menu of a Beautiful Climbing Sim

This is how we keep things in a hiking backpack.

The Game Bakers showcased a fantastic inventory menu of their atmospheric exploration adventure Cairn.

The game features a realistic simulation of mountain climbing, with the protagonist, Aava, ascending the Tenzen ridge. An integral part of hiking is taking all the necessary things that you might need during your adventure. The tricky part is to fit them in your backpack so that you can lift and carry it while making your way through the natural path. The developers of the game didn't miss this aspect in their realistic sim and introduced an immersive inventory system showing how the character's possessions are placed in the bag.

The devs humorously tackled the representation, showing noodles, chocolate bars, pills, and even a bowl of dandelion soup mixed together, adding a comic side and even more realism to the game. "This is actually just how we get things out of our backpacks irl," the caption in the X/Twitter post reads.

Cairn features plenty of interactive elements, such as a barometer and a ClimBot, along with fascinating cartoonish but realistic visuals:
