3D Scan Artist Alexey Gorinov shared a set of highly realistic 3D vegetable models.
3D Scan Artist Alexey Gorinov shared a pack of highly realistic vegetable assets created with photogrammetry.
The models can be used in Unreal Engine 5 and other 3D software for creating games, renders, or movies. The assets have high-quality texture and geometry in FBX format and are suitable for PBR photorealistic renders.
The textures feature 4K resolution and are in PNG format, while the maps include Base Color, Normals, Roughness, Occlusion, and ORM (Occlusion, Roughness, Metallic). To create the assets, the artist used Sony A7 III and Godox WS400 Ring Flash.
The pack includes the models of:
- 1 watermelon;
- 1 pomelo;
- 5 pumpkins;
- 2 zucchinis;
- 1 cabbage.
We had an interview with Alexey, in which he talked to us about 3D scanning of a birch pole surface and shared a detailed tutorial on the entire workflow, discussing the choice of equipment, camera settings, the shooting process, and post-production:
Also, before, the artist presented a realistic bread and bakery asset pack of 10 Nanite and 10 classic geometry meshes:
