The developer of BioGrid shares new updates.
The developer of the ecology sim BioGrid shared a mesmerizing timelapse clip from the game, showing the change of terrain and the appearance of grass.
As the water level lowers, the sandy seashore turns into a soil area covered with lush vegetation. The developer noted that the grass changes over time and becomes greener and leafier as the soil improves.
According to the creator, BioGrid will be a sandbox game where you can modify terrain, plants, and creatures, create stable ecosystems, and evolve life towards higher complexity. In another animation, there's also an impressive scene of a dense forest growing on once-dry sand:
