It'll also come to Xbox Cloud Gaming.
We already knew that Rockstar isn't going to hype Grand Theft Auto 6, the most anticipated title of 2025 and possibly the entire decade, until its fall release draws quite close. However, some warm-up activities wouldn't hurt, and bringing the predecessor back on the shelf, a strategy that could rekindle interest and, therefore, enhance the already strong anticipation for the new game, seems to be the publisher's choice.
A few hours ago, a Twitter user named Ben shared the news that GTA 5 will be available on PC Game Pass and Game Pass later this month, according to an email sent by the developer to the community pages.
GTA 5 was available on XGP a few times before for a limited time, but it's the first time that it has joined the PC Game Pass. In a separate reply, Ben also confirmed that it'll also come to Xbox Cloud Gaming, which has never happened before.
This confirms previous information from Tez2, a data miner who specializes in Rockstar titles. They mentioned last July that the company was preparing GTA 5 for the PC Game Pass.
