"We want to make unique and interesting games for everyone who has supported Tango GameWorks up until now, so please look forward to them."
Tango Gameworks
The developer of the acclaimed vibrant rhythm game Hi-Fi- RUSH Tango Gameworks was closed earlier this year, but later ,the PUBG publisher KRAFTON announced its acquisition of Tango Gameworks, along with the rights to Hi-Fi RUSH. In a recent interview with 4Gamer (via Automaton), Tango Gameworks' Studio Head Colin Mack, Creative Director John Johanas, and Development Director Kazuaki Egashira discussed the studio's plans to create brand new IPs alongside the beloved Hi-Fi RUSH.
KRAFTON seemingly will help Tango Gameworks develop in its direction and become a stronger and bigger studio than before.
"Tango Gameworks goal is still IP creation," Development Director Kazuaki Egashira said. "While the ability and thinking required to create something from nothing cannot be acquired overnight, we have the members with the know-how to do this and we want to expand. This is where Krafton fits in."
"We want to be a studio where people feel like the work is their baby, not just some task to be done," Creative Director John Johanas shared.
Tango Gameworks hasn't announced net titles yet, but the Director reassured fans to look forward to the studio's new projects:
"We want to make unique and interesting games for everyone who has supported Tango GameWorks up until now, so please look forward to them," said Studio Head Colin Mack.

KRAFTON's plans to help Tango Gameworks preserve its creative approach and develop in its own direction were announced by its executives before. For instance, KRAFTON's CEO Changhan "CH" Kim shared that the acquisition was driven by the motivation to preserve the studio's creative legacy rather than strive for commercial success.
Also, Maria Park, Head of Corporate Development at KRAFTON, said that the company's decision to purchase the studio was mainly driven by the desire to develop its "legacy of craftsmanship": "We recognized that Tango has this rich history of innovation and creativity, and the rarity of being a relatively small studio with a strong fandom."
