"I see a lot of Houdini artists struggle sometimes with POPs because they rely too much on the pre-built force nodes Houdini provides. It's crucial to know how to bypass these Force nodes and build our own logic for particle movement."

Intro to Particles starts with basics, setting up a simple POP simulation and exploring the default tools Houdini provides. You will learn about the geometry VOP, an extremely powerful tool that allows to bend simulations to one's will and directly specify the movement of particles. Collisions are another key component to any simulations, and this is even more true when it comes to particles.

This course's length is 2 hours and it requires 1-2 weeks of your time.
