NVIDIA has released a major update to Omniverse Enterprise, its scalable, end-to-end platform enabling enterprises to build and operate metaverse applications. The new release adds new features and capabilities, such as Omniverse Connectors and Omniverse DeepSearch, brings updates to the core components of the platform, and delivers increased performance.
One of the latest additions to Omniverse Enterprise is new Connectors that provide users with more seamless connected workflows between various 3D applications. Now, the platform supports such software as Adobe Substance 3D Painter, Autodesk Alias, PTC Creo, and Kitware’s Paraview Omniverse Connectors.
With the new update, Omniverse DeepSearch, NVIDIA's AI-powered service that allows teams to intuitively search through large, untagged 3D databases with natural language or using 2D reference images, became generally available. In addition, the new release brings a renewed user interface that enables improved usability and performance as well as adds Kubernetes support.
Omniverse Enterprise now also has new cloud containers for Enterprise Nucleus Server, Replicator, Farm, and Isaac Sim for AWS that provide teams with more flexibility in connecting with each other. In addition, AWS’ security, identity, and access-management controls give enterprises the ability to maintain complete control over their data.
Core components of Omniverse Enterprise have also been enhanced with this new update. For instance, Omniverse Create now includes NVIDIA DLSS 3 and multi-viewport support, Omniverse View user experience has been improved to let users focus purely on the review and approval experience, and Omniverse Nucleus has received improved IT management tools, including expanded version control to handle atomic checkpoints on the server, updated Large File Transfer, and more.
