One Punch Man Bookshelf Recreated In Blender With Photos

YakovlevArt shared his method for creating quick textures using photos taken with his phone.

3D Artist YakovlevArt, who recently went viral for his stunning 3D recreations of scenes from the iconic 1988 cyberpunk film Akira, shared a behind-the-scenes video detailing his method for quickly generating textures, which he used to set up One Punch Man's Saitama's bookshelf based on real-life manga collection.

After capturing images with his phone, YakovlevArt crops and aligns them directly in the photo gallery. The artist then combines the images into a single Photoshop file and projects onto the models, which is effective for blocky shapes like this.
