The one-and-only DLC is garnering overwhelmingly positive reviews.
The much-anticipated Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, is finally available and player enthusiasm is soaring, creating another summer heat wave in the gaming world. It's no surprise that players are returning to the Lands Between — over half a million players went back to the Elden Ring just ahead of the DLC launch. SteamDB data shows that the 24-hour peak reached nearly 590,000 players at 02:00 UTC on June 21st.
The DLC is currently garnering overwhelmingly positive reviews, with 95% of approximately 2,600 players giving it a thumbs-up. Given that this DLC represents the largest expansion in FromSoftware's history, it's likely that many players actually gave it a like before even starting their in-game explorations.

The gaming community couldn't help wondering if the count of concurrent online players will break its record as with the launch of the DLC.
