Although Palworld’s updates have become more or less frequent, it seems the developers prioritize fixing bugs and polishing other minor features rather than adding new content.
Recently, Pocketpair has launched a testing program and is currently looking for players genuinely committed to testing and bug hunting. It became public with the game's community manager announcement on Palworld's official Discord channel, expressing gratitude for the support of the game and teasing the developers have "some exciting new content lined up".
"Please note that the testing environment is very important for us to find and eliminate bugs and issues before releasing content to the public, so we would appreciate it if you only signed up if you are committed to the testing.
The testing branch is not intended for free play or experiencing new content early, so we hope that only those of you genuinely interested in bug hunting and testing will apply."
The application form reveals, that the beta test will only be conducted via Steam. Other requirements include "a working knowledge of Palworld and its mechanics", being a member of the official Discord community, and the ability to answer any questionnaires in Japanese or English after tests.
It's also noted that the main purpose of this test is to receive feedback from players to improve the quality of the game in preparation for update releases, there are still many unfinished parts, so you will not be able to play the entire game during tests. Users' data such as characters and items also cannot be carried over to the released version unless otherwise specified.
The testing program will be restricted to one account per person and if Pocketpair determines that there are multiple applications from the same person, they will be removed. Finally, of course, you won't be allowed to share any materials online, as the last point specifies "It is prohibited to post videos or screenshots during this test to social media".
